Biography: Plagued by Curiosity

My path hasn't been linear, but as David Epstein notes in Range, that's precisely my superpower—at least, that's what I tell myself.

I've spent two decades chasing curiosity down paths of the unknown—from mixing bands in punk clubs to producing award-winning culinary videos (yes, we lost a James Beard Award to Martha Stewart) to developing healthcare education content that actually helps people.

Each experience informs the next.

I've directed music videos, launched an early YouTube series, and logged countless hours in edit bays, weaving audio, video, and graphics into compelling narratives. I taught filmmaking to teens (some now work in Hollywood). I helped write and produce over 30 e-courses for healthcare organizations, scientists, and experts, helping hundreds of thousands of people live happier, healthier lives. I've created AI-driven healthcare communication systems and built multimedia ecosystems for major organizations.

I assure you, I’m more like Bruce Lee, flowing like water toward what works than Douglas Adams' famed character Dirk Gently randomly following cars that look like they know where they’re going—at least, that’s what I tell myself.
